This annual font subscription service provides you with more than 9,000 Latin and other fonts from the diverse font library of Monotype Imaging Inc., which has a 150-year-old history in the field. You can use world-famous, high-grade Latin fonts such as Helvetica®, Frutiger®, and Optima®, as well as diverse fonts for many languages.

It contains a wide variety of fonts supporting multiple languages, including 669 extended Latin fonts covering over 89 languages with standard Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek scripts, as well as 13 Devanagari, 119 Arabic, and 34 Thai fonts, and more.
It also includes 216 fonts compliant with Chinese national standards.


Monotype's first original Japanese font: Tazugane® Gothic

It also includes Monotype's first original Japanese font, Tazugane® Gothic, in four convenient weights: Ultra Light, Light, Bold, and Black. This Japanese font was specifically designed to be complement Monotype's internationally respected, Neue Frutiger® Latin font, and delivers high legibility in text combining Japanese and Latin scripts.

This modern and sophisticated sans-serif typeface was designed based on logical future family expansion from the planning phase, and offers systematically designed Condensed to Expanded faces.

Although it is sans-serif, the slightly right-slanted vertical strokes give the warm, uplifting feeling of handwriting.

Designed as a universal and geometric sans-serif typeface, it provides a humane feeling with its character-proportion-oriented design.

This widely used typeface was the mainstay of letterpress printing, as evidenced by the saying "When in doubt, typeset in Caslon".
It is famous for being used in the American Declaration of Independence.

One of the hallmark typefaces of the United Kingdom, it is famous for its magnificent capitals.
It is often used both for body text and titles in books and magazines.

This is a lighter variant of the famous standard typeface.
Its elegant and sophisticated appearance is suitable for headlines but as it is not too heavy, it can also be used to highlight text without overpowering readers.

Originating from letterpress characters in England, the typeface was polished and revived in the 1950's, becoming popular for its powerful form and legibility. It has been used to decorate the jackets of many famous jazz albums.

Designed in the US in the early 20th century, it recalls to mind the letterpress typefaces of the 19th century with its fine balance of intrusiveness and individuality.

Consisting of only capital letters, the typeface has the aura of copperplate engraving. It is often used in wine labels and fancy chocolate boxes, with subdued tones and sensitivity.

This typeface is popular among famous confectionaries, creating a traditional mood with its unique character design.

This casual cursive typeface offers uniformity in the characters, as if written with a felt-tip or broad-tipped ballpoint pen.
Text is compact as the lower-case letters are on a common baseline.

This typeface is based on a face used in formal printed materials from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, and often seen in sci-fi or action film titles.

This Japanese typeface was designed to match Neue Frutiger®, and aims to fulfill existing design requirement and establish a new standard.

Price

■One License for One Platform on One Computer

If you want to use our fonts on virtualized platforms using BootCamp on Mac OS, or VMWare, you will need one license for each operating system (e.g. one for Mac OS and one for Windows on BootCamp).

■The subscription fee depends on your contract length.

■You can select a 3-year (yearly/lump-sum payment) or a 1-year subscription.

Initial fee 30,000 yen (excluding tax) per office (first time only)
Annual subscription fee 24,000 yen (excluding tax)/platform/year
* You may also choose to pay 72,000 yen (excluding tax) for 3 years in one lump sum.

If you are already subscribed to Iwata, Motoya, or Monotype LETS, the initial fee is waived.
The initial fee is 30,000 yen (excluding tax) for one office regardless of the number of platforms licensed.
Please note that the 3-year course requires that you keep using the fonts for a 3-year period. If you terminate the subscription before your expiration date, it will be treated as the 1-year course, and we will invoice you for the difference.

 

Game LETS Extended License

This allows you to integrate our fonts into games or to use them in chat services.
Under the LETS license you can only use the font characters as images in games, but this license allows you to integrate font files and character outlines. Players will be able to enter characters for in-game chats or player profiles, which have been outside the license scope.

Fee

Increased convenience as the licensed period is the same as your LETS subscription.
We do not require application for individual game titles, and there is no per-game fee.
The Game LETS Extended License is available with two fee structures, depending on the number of platforms licensed under your LETS subscription.
