This annual font subscription service provides a wide variety of high-quality fonts from several font foundries.

We provide various fonts including Japanese, Latin, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Thai, and Hebrew from the Fontworks Collection, the Hakusyu Collection, and the Latin Font Collection.

The above numbers indicate the number of font files. For example, TsukushiMincho-L has five types (Pro/Pr５/Pr５N/Pr６/Pr６N) so the count is five.

Price

■ One License for One Platform on One Computer

If you want to use our fonts on virtualized platforms using BootCamp on Mac OS, or VMWare, you will need one license for each operating system (e.g. one for Mac OS and one for Windows on BootCamp).

■ The subscription fee depends on your contract length.

■ You can select a 3-year (yearly/lump-sum payment) or a 1-year subscription.

3-Year Course


Initial fee	30,000 yen (excluding tax) per office (first time only)
Annual subscription fee	24,000 yen (excluding tax)/platform/year * You may also choose to pay 72,000 yen (excluding tax) for 3 years in one lump sum.

1-Year Course


Initial fee	30,000 yen (excluding tax) per office (first time only)
Annual subscription fee	36,000 yen (excluding tax)/platform/year

Additional platforms


3-Year Course	2,000 yen (excluding tax)/platform/month
1-Year Course	3,000 yen (excluding tax)/platform/month

If you are already subscribed to Iwata, Motoya, or Monotype LETS, the initial fee is waived.
The initial fee is 30,000 yen (excluding tax) for one office regardless of the number of platforms licensed.
Please note that the 3-year course requires that you keep using the fonts for a 3-year period. If you terminate the subscription before your expiration date, it will be treated as the 1-year course, and we will invoice you for the difference.

Application/Game LETS Extended License

This allows you to integrate our fonts into games, or to use them in chat services, within the scope of the extended license terms.
Under the LETS license you can only use the font characters as images in applications or games, but this license allows you to integrate font files and character outlines. Players will be able to enter characters for in-game chats or player profiles, which have been outside the license scope.

The following applications are excluded from this license: electronic book viewers, video viewers, and graphic software.

Integrating fonts into operating systems
Integrating fonts in electronic book viewers, video viewers (with or without commenting functions), graphic software, spreadsheets, word processors, web browsers, graphic or video editors, or audio (lyric) editors

Integrating fonts into hardware for use as system fonts will require additional fees. Please contact us for more details.
Products developed using LETS fonts may be sold abroad (with the exclusion of Chinese fonts), as long as the development is done in Japan. (The license does not include the right to use font files outside Japan.)
For use in web fonts, the terms and conditions of FONTPLUS for LETS PUTK apply.

The license is granted to the same number of platforms as your LETS subscription.
A LETS subscription is required, along with payment of the initial and subscription fees. The Application/Game LETS Extended License is not available independently.

Housei LETS

Chinese fonts from Founder International Inc., a font vendor with a large share of the Chinese market, are available through our annual font subscription service Housei LETS.
This service provides you with TrueType fonts for both Mac OS and Windows, compliant with the national standards of China (GuoJia-BiaoZhu), GB2312, and GBK. The optional Housei Game LETS Extended License is also available for game developers.

License Scope

You can use the fonts in general printed materials, videos, broadcasting, and games, provided that they are used in Japan.

Terms and Conditions

The following requirements apply:

A valid main Fontworks LETS subscription (both may be started at the same time)
Use the fonts only in Japan
Experience in handling Chinese, including basic knowledge of Simplified or Traditional Chinese input methods and composition rules

Fee

Optional Housei LETS fee	50,000 yen (excluding tax) /platform/year

A LETS subscription is required, along with payment of the initial and subscription fees. Housei LETS is not available independently.
If you already have a valid LETS subscription, the Housei LETS subscription fee for the first year will be prorated to the number of months from the start or renewal date of your subscription. Please contact our Support Center for more details.

* Housei LETS is not available as an option for the Iwata or Motoya LETS subscribers.
